Lonna Vopat
Humorist,
talk show host, ministry
speaker, writer.
Encouraging
women to deepen their walk with
Jesus Christ is at the heart of
In His Grace Ministries. Founder
and Executive Director, Lonna
Vopat, is an internationally
known communicator recognized
for her transparent approach to
life, finding humor in every
circumstance and sharing
scripture with boldness and
authenticity.
Lonna’s signature presentation,
“From Maybelline to the Maker”
has been
enthusiastically received by
audiences world wide. As a
contestant in the nationally
televised, 2002 Mrs. America
pageant, Lonna had a front row
seat to watch the lengths in
which women went, striving for
identity, acceptance, and
physical perfection. Using
humor, props and her pageant
experiences, she encourages
women to grasp onto their
awaiting identity as daughters
of the King of kings. Lonna
shares her personal story of
neglect, abandonment and abuse
in childhood to show that we
serve a benevolent God of
restoration. Living through drug
abuse and countless harmful
choices, she shares the
consequences of this life
style—including the painful
experience of abortion. The Lord
has given her the ability to
communicate His message with
boldness to all people,
regardless of gender, age or
life circumstances.
In His Grace Ministries has
taken Lonna and her team to many
different speaking venues,
reaching thousands of people
across the globe. The vision of
In His Grace Ministries is to
see women encouraged to find
their identity in Jesus Christ,
empowered to live the authentic
Christian life, and mobilized to
share the message of hope to
women abroad. From Mexico to
West Africa, India to South
America and throughout the
United States, Lonna has
continued to communicate her
passion for God’s Word and His
abundant love. Domestically, she
ministers at Christian
conferences, ladies retreats,
special events, and university
campuses. Lonna hosts the weekly
television talk show
Between Friends,
is a featured speaker in the
book titled
Speaking of Faith
and writes a faith based column
for a regional newspaper.
Lonna and her husband Kevin have
three beautiful children;
Parker, Dillon, and Grace. The
Vopats’ enjoy their country home
in Idaho and are deeply involved
in youth and music ministry in
their home church. Their hobbies
include raising quarter horses,
camping and a variety of outdoor
activities.
